I look forward to meeting you!
Before we meet together,
I thought you might enjoy learning about me.
I consider it a great privilege to be invited into the lives of others. I have profound gratitude for the place I have in the lives of girls & women and I hope you'll feel that truth when we're together.
What I know for sure is that you are the best expert in your life and the longings you hold for it. My expertise is in the questions I know to be helpful in those conversations. Partnering in this way, I trust we'll create meaningful conversations designed to bring the impact you desire.
Narrative Therapy guides my conversations. I'm especially curious about the stories we hold about ourselves and our lives and those not yet being lived out in preferred ways.
Trained in Bowen Family Systems, I believe it's helpful to view our identities and experiences in the context of the relationships, systems and cultures we've known.
My work is informed by post-modern perspectives and Feminist Theory. I'm often interested in exploring the ways gender, power, and privilege have shaped our realities.
I view our mental health as one dimension of our lives. As an Integrative Mental Health Professional, I'm attentive to our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual selves.
I provide culturally humble, trauma-informed therapy and am LGBTQ+ affirming.
Still curious about my approach to therapy? I welcome your questions.
